The Composerie Design Studio is a browser-based visual editor where you create personalization templates for your products. The drag-and-drop interface makes it easy to set up complex multi-layer designs without writing code. The Composerie Customizer is an embeddable widget that integrates directly into your Shopify product pages. Customers personalize products in real-time with a live preview that updates instantly as they type, upload images, or change colors. The customizer supports text personalization, image uploads with automatic background removal, color pickers, font selection from 200+ Google Fonts, and conditional fields that show or hide based on customer choices.
Mobile-optimized with touch controls for pinch-to-zoom and drag-to-position. Instant price calculation shows customers the cost as they add personalizations. The lightweight embed script loads in under 5KB, keeping your store fast. Works with any Shopify theme including Dawn, Debut, and custom themes.
Print-on-demand fulfillment: Automatic order routing
Connect your Composerie store to print-on-demand providers like Printful, Printify, Gooten, and Posterflow. When a customer places an order with personalized products, Composerie automatically generates print-ready files at 300 DPI with proper bleed margins and sends them to your configured provider for fulfillment. No manual file preparation needed.
The order pipeline handles the entire flow: Shopify webhook reception, print file generation (PNG and PDF), provider order submission, tracking number synchronization, customer notification emails, and Shopify fulfillment status updates. Built-in retry logic and circuit breaker patterns ensure reliability even when provider APIs are temporarily unavailable.
Analytics and A/B testing: Optimize your conversions
Track how customers interact with your personalization options through built-in analytics. Monitor conversion funnels from product view to customizer open to add-to-cart to purchase. Composerie supports 6 languages out of the box: English, Dutch, German, French, Spanish, and Italian. All customizer labels, error messages, and UI elements are fully translated. The storefront embed automatically detects the customer's language from the Shopify locale setting. Add custom translations for your product-specific personalization labels.
Multi-currency support passes through Shopify's presentment currency to display prices in the customer's local currency. Whether your customers pay in EUR, USD, GBP, or any other Shopify-supported currency, the customizer shows accurate pricing with automatic conversion.
Security and compliance: Enterprise-grade protection
Composerie is built with security at every layer. All data is encrypted in transit (TLS 1.3) and at rest (AES-256-GCM for provider credentials). GDPR-compliant data handling with support for Shopify's mandatory webhooks: customer data requests, customer data erasure, and shop data erasure. Role-based access control with 5 permission levels ensures team members only access what they need. API key authentication with scoped permissions for headless integrations. No customer data is stored longer than necessary, and all uploads are served via signed URLs with automatic expiry.
